Project Description: The concept of creation by a machine is not new. For decades, we’ve been warned that artificial intelligence would one day steal our jobs. Lately, it seems people like me, creatives, are even more threatened. Recent advances in artificial intelligence have clearly indicated that artists, illustrators, and photographers could soon be driven out of the job market and replaced by robots.

The art market is becoming obsessed with works produced by artificial intelligence. One of them, titled “Portrait of Edmond de Bellamy,” was sold in 2018 for $432,500. This painting was created by a machine that mimics human intellect. There are several creative tools using artificial intelligence, and the possibilities are endless. The waiting time for a finished result is almost instantaneous, and the results are impressive. Humans have always created and appreciated all forms of art, for visual purposes, aesthetic purposes, and even for therapeutic purposes, and these robots will eventually redefine how art is created and appreciated.
